The six guides

• How to become a chiropractorFor you if you're deciding whether to start: the whole path in order, from shadowing and prerequisites to the boards, your state license and the first job.
• How long chiropractic school takesFor you if you're planning the years: how long the Doctor of Chiropractic program runs, and how long the whole path takes from your first college class.
• Chiropractic school prerequisitesFor you if you're choosing classes: why there is no single prerequisite list, the accreditor's admission standard, and links to the 17 published lists we read.
• Every accredited programFor you if you're building a school list: all 19 CCE-accredited programs, 18 in the United States and 1 in Canada, compared and never ranked.
• Shadowing a chiropractorFor you if you haven't spent time in a practice yet: how to ask a chiropractor you've never met, what to watch for in the room, and the questions to ask.
• Working as a chiropractic assistantFor you if you want to work in a practice before school, or instead of it: what the role involves, how training and certification vary by state, and the path from assistant to DC.

Accreditation
