Where it sits: This module sits at Contribution. The role it grows: the artist, most of all.

Module 8 is your technical year: it takes what you know about the spine and makes your hands accountable to it. You leave with a video of your own setups across three regions, a patient visit you designed, your story and a vision for your practice, and a statement of the adjuster you are becoming.

Your five milestones

Each milestone is a piece of work you make and keep. Any of them can be opened first.

  1. Starting Statement

    Where you are starting from, in your own words: why you chose chiropractic, the adjuster you want to become, where on the spine you feel sure and unsure, your biggest challenge so far, and a picture of your practice five years out.

  2. Three-Region Skills Video

    A short video of you assessing and setting up the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine on a real person, saying what you are doing and why. The hands-on practice in all three regions, and the notes you keep on it, are how you get there.

  3. Patient Encounter Template

    Your patient visit written out from greeting to goodbye: the protocol, the words you use at each step, and what watching yourself and other adjusters taught you about rhythm.

  4. Practice Story and Five-Year Vision

    Your story told three ways, at three lengths, and a written picture of the practice you are building toward, with where you stand on the entrepreneur arc and one thing you can do now for each stage.

  5. Adjusting Artist Statement

    A paragraph on the adjusting artist you are becoming, written so you could share it, next to the private version; an honest look back at where you started; and the plan you carry into Module 9.
