Module 9 is your time in student clinic used on purpose: a starting plan you can keep, a way of explaining chiropractic that patients can repeat, visits you designed, a new patient experience tested with a peer, and a statement of the chiropractor you are becoming.

Your five milestones

Each milestone is a piece of work you make and keep. Any of them can be opened first.

  1. Opening Manifesto

    Where you stand as you start clinic, and how you will hold up: an honest baseline on eight clinical skills, two priorities with a specific intention for each, the advisors you will learn from, your reflection habit, and a self-care plan for your energy and your body.

  2. Communication Lab Reflection

    Five core ideas explained so a ten-year-old could repeat them, recorded on video; the questions and empathetic responses you will actually use; and a lab with a peer that ends in one paragraph on the gap between how you think you come across and how you do.

  3. Day 1 and Day 2 Visit Flows

    Your patient visits, designed on purpose: a Day 1 flow minute by minute with a close in your own words, a Day 2 flow that picks up from it, and the scripts, rhythm and care-plan framing that carry a patient from one visit to the next.

  4. New Patient Experience and Lab Cycle Notes

    The whole new-patient journey designed stage by stage, the moment you handle weakest and the change you will make first, and one lab of your choice run all the way through with a peer: yourself on video, a peer role-play, a debrief and a second attempt.

  5. Professional Identity Statement

    Who you are as a chiropractor, in your own words: your brand and practice vision, your philosophy in plain language, your care model, the Clinical Identity Map that finishes "I'm the kind of chiropractor who…", and a closing statement set beside the intentions you wrote on your first day.
